NOVATO, CA: Professional Angler and reigning Toyota Bass Classic Champion Keith Combs has agreed to terms with True Image Promotions to represent him.
“I feel like I have worked very hard on the fishing side of professional bass fishing, but the marketing and promotions side of the business is really something new to me. We caught up with Keith following his second day at the Bassmaster Elite Series Lazer Trokar Quest on Bull Shoals Lake. This cut makes the 8th straight cut on the Elite Series for Combs spanning over 13 months of Elite Series action. Keith is currently in 5th place in the 2012 Angler of the Year Race, 46 points behind leader Brent Chapman heading into Douglas Lake in a little more than a week.

I just wrapped up the Sam Rayburn FLW Everstart event and although I didn't make the top ten cut I am happy with the results. I ended up in 11th place, missing the cut by 8 ounces. I worked hard for this event and missing the cut was actually a blessing in disguise. I wanted to win the event, but after two days I wasn't in position to win and getting Saturday to get some much needed rest and do a few things around the house was nice. I drove most of the day on Sunday and have arrived at Bull Shoals now and will begin pre-fishing today, Monday, in what I think will be a great event.
